The weekend results.
Moruya Feb 21 - Feb 24. We finally got to the caravan at midnight Thursday after Mick and Paul got lost on the drive from Sydney to Wollongong and arrived at my house around 8.30pm. I had been working on the boat all week and had to replace the swithchbox and the stator. Then I had to patch up a hole in the bastard. I finally had the boat ready around 6.00pm that evening.
We finally got to bed at 2.30am Friday after Mick met some new friends and thought he might be half a chance. Needless to say, with a head like his he had no chance.
When we awoke on Friday morning the Moruya River bar was impossible to cross so we spent morning fishing the river and the afternoon on the juice.
Saturday came and we got up early and made it over the bar and fished off the heads for snapper and a monster. We came in early and then headed off to Narooma, 50km South and fished Wagonga inlet for a mixed bag but only 1 keeper bream. On the way back we stopped at an oyster farm for a few dozen and had them as an entree to our snapper dinner - these were the best oysters I have ever had ! Sunday we came home as I had a stinking hangver and nobody else wanted to fish.
